Meet Kathleen Shepherd
With 37 years of experience as a Public Health Inspector at Peterborough Public Health, Kathleen Shepherd is a seasoned expert in the field of sewage systems, environmental and public health. She is excited to dedicate her knowledge and passion into her own venture, Safe Sewage Systems Consulting.
Kathleen holds a BAA in Environmental Health, serves as a Board Director at the Ontario Onsite Wastewater Association and is the Chief Building Official for Sewage Systems at the Township of Cavan-Monaghan. Her involvement and dedication in the field has made her one of the most coveted and trustworthy in the industry.
Kathleen is excited to share her expertise through Safe Sewage Systems Consulting, where she will provide expert design, consultation, inspections and innovative solutions for safe and environmentally responsible sewage systems.
Meet Jacob Maragh
Jacob grew up watching and learning from his grandmother Kathleen work passionately with the environment through sewage systems. With a BScH in Biology and Advanced Diploma in Ecosystem Management Technology, Jacob has pursued wastewater management as a way to achieve his passion in environmental protection and sustainability. Jacob, under the Ministry of Municipal Affairs and Housing has Qualifications for Onsite Sewage Systems and General Legal/Process. As a sewage system Designer, Jacob is excited to join his biggest mentor and inspiration, at Safe Sewage Systems Consulting.
